Welcome to my blog! This is a place where I can share my learning. My blog is a collection of questions, ideas, learning in progress and finished work.
Our school-wide theme this year is 'In Our Backyard. Kia mau ki te tokanga nui a noho - there is no place like home.' Please make comments so I can deepen my understanding, learn about new ideas and improve my work.
Malo e lelei Kahvel. Thank you for sharing your work with us. The Kiwi has tiny wings, but cannot fly. It has loose feathers that are more like fur and unlike other birds the feathers moult throughout the year. It is the only ird in the world with nostrils at the end of its beak. Its sense of smell is second to none. Why is Kiwi important to Maori? Have a great day.
